Symposium om miljøtoksikologisk forskning 19.-20. oktober 2004 Developing new tools for genomic research in the Atlantic cod. Abstract The Codgen project, in which the aim is to establish a national research program on genetic mapping and functional biology in Atlantic cod, was proposed in 2003 by the Institute of Marine Research (IMR), the University of Bergen (UiB), the Norwegian Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture Research (NIFAR), the Norwegian College of Fishery Science (NFH) at the University of Tromsø and the National Institute of Nutrition and Seafood Research (NIFES). As part of the Codgen activity, the NRC-financed project " Stress genes in the Atlantic Cod Gadus morhua: EST sequencing and microarray production", is running between 2004-2005. The main goal of this project is to increase knowledge of environmental impact and gene expression in the Atlantic cod through gen | ||||
